BANANA PUDDING WITH CONDENSED MILK

First off let me tell you one thing; I hate bananas with a passion.
An absolute passion. I remember running cross country meets trying to force down half a banana before my race as I stood there gagging.
It is most definitely the texture that I hate (really anything that reminds me of baby food does me in). And there is just something I cannot handle. The texture and the smell of course.
BUT bananas seem to make a little tiny come back with their flavor. I don’t necessarily hate how they taste. And when you make a banana pudding can you really just leave out the bananas, I think not. Therefore I topped one little ramekin with bananas and chose to make vanilla pudding the rest of the way- can you say bad ass?
But really because that is how I felt doing this, breaking the rules. Oh yeah and don’t even assume that AU likes bananas, so we kept most of it free of bananas for him to enjoy as well (always thinking of my other half!).
Feel free to increase your bananas to 3 or even 4 if you’re one of those lovers! You can layer the banana on top of the pudding mixture as you layer up the desserts. Or just top them all off with sliced bananas, whatever YOU want.
I actually made half of this recipe, it was very easy. The reasoning because the whole recipe was larger than I needed. You can half all the ingredients and make it just as stated in the recipe card if you prefer. If you make it for a get together or group dinner go ahead and make the whole thing, you won’t be sorry!
Enjoy this last tribute to summer and warm sunshine, it seems fall is finally coming!!
I can’t wait to bundle up in scarves and boots and don’t forget, leggings!
