Germany has so much more than just German food. I feel like I tried so many different types of food cultures and loved every second.

Eat Doori– Chicken Tikka Masala

I found this amazing modern viby Indian place while exploring Cologne and had to just sit down and enjoy some Chicken Tikka Masalsa on the side walk while people watching.

AKA heaven.

Eat Doori– Aperol Spritz

If you haven’t had an Aperol Spritz, run now. Get one.

Taste how refreshing it is and how wonderful the flavor is in your mouth. I had my first one on our trip to South Africa last year and there was no turning back! They are so good and this one at Eat Doori was the best I’ve ever had. Hands down!

(Also check out the prime people watching spot below).

Adaccio Koln– Pasta Carbonara

Cologne has so many Italian restaurants, they’re everywhere!

This restaurant was super cool and had a full bar stocked high to the ceiling with every liquor imaginable right at the center of the restaurant. It’s located on a corner spot!

This pasta was perfectly creamy with hefty pieces of pancetta and garnished with more parmesan.

H&A Tages Bar– Shrimp Caesar Salad

My one salad for the week! If you’re looking for a delish salad, this is it right here. Served with grilled shrimp or chicken this salad is fresh and perfectly dressed.

Rafello Eiscafe- Gelato

Gelato is literally on every corner in Cologne. It’s one of my favorite parts of the city to be honest. This one is right by the Cathedral with the perfect view of it.

I couldn’t resist Pistachio and Tiramisu.

Creamiest most dreamy delicious gelato in the world.

Si Claro- Chicken Enchiladas

I couldn’t go a week without Mexican food.

Not to mention, Chicken Enchiladas are my number one, always.

These had the best flavor, just the right amount of cheese and of course came with rice and beans.

Cafe Riese– Tomato, Mozzarella Pesto Panini

I absolutely LOVE all the cafe’s in Cologne. They all have seating outside even if it’s just a few tables and chairs. The atmosphere is always welcoming and such a fun way to enjoy a meal.

Best panini of my life right here. Perfect cheesy ratio and it felt light and I welcome the vinaigrette dressed salad as well :)

If you’re looking for sweets, pastries, pies, croissants, cakes, cheesecakes, chocolates, gelato, milkshakes, parfaits, etc…. GO HERE! Cases of these delicacies went on for miles into the back of this Cafe and it felt like a dessert fairytale.

La Tagliatella- Sangria

Need I say more?! An awesome view of this courtyard surrounded by cute houses and cafe’s.

We were there on the Wine Festival day, tip- BRING CASH so you can try all the wines from the different places!

Great Wall– Sesame King Shrimp

If I had to be honest, this falls under the most authentic and tasty Chinese food I’ve ever had.

Three levels of this small cozy restaurant delivered flavorful dishes that kept us ordering more and more!

Favorite dish by far, the Sweet Bean Sauce Chicken.

Such a fun experience here and don’t forget to order rice and lo mein!

Bier-Esel- Fish & Chips

The most German meal I had all week and it did not disappoint.

Wonderful fried fish in a beer batter (beer is the best) that was not too thick and fried until light, airy, and crispy.

Fries and the most delish Tartar sauce had me licking my plate clean.
Everything on this menu looked fresh and totally cultural!

Much travel food love,
