SPICY QUESO WITH CRUMBLED HOT SAUSAGE

Ingredients

  • 8 OUNCES CREAM CHEESE CUBED
  • 1 LB WHITE AMERICAN CHEESE CUBED, FIND IN DELI!
  • 1 TABLESPOON BUTTER
  • 4 OUNCES CANNED GREEN CHILI'S
  • 1 TABLESPOON JALAPENO MINCED FINELY
  • 4 TABLESPOONS MILK
  • 3 TABLESPOONS WATER
  • 2 TABLESPOONS CHOPPED CILANTRO
  • 8 OUNCES HOT SAUSAGE
  • 1/2 TEASPOON CUMIN
  • S&P TO TASTE

Instructions

  • OMBINE CREAM CHEESE, WHITE AMERICAN CHEESE, BUTTER, CHILES, AND JALAPENO'S IN A SLOW COOKER ON HIGH FOR 30 MINUTES.
  • STIR WELL THEN ADD MILK AND WATER 1 TABLESPOON AT A TIME UNTIL THE MIXTURE IS SMOOTH.
  • CONTINUE COOKING FOR ANOTHER 15-20 MINUTES UNTIL ALL THE CHEESE IS MELTED.
  • WHILE COOKING FOR THE SECOND AMOUNT OF TIME, COOK AND CRUMBLE SAUSAGE OVER MEDIUM HEAT. ONCE BROWNED ADD IN CUMIN.
  • TRANSFER MELTED QUESO TO A SMALL BOWL AND TOP WITH CRUMBLED SAUSAGE AND CHOPPED CILANTRO!
  • SERVE WITH CHIPS, ON TACOS OR QUESADILLAS.
