CHILI SHRIMP TACOS WITH MANGO SALSA
This just happened.
Yes! That is a mango, an onion, and a tomato. They are magical together.
My mom and I made dinner together tonight.
I concocted the salsa:
mango
onion
cilantro
tomato
and a peach!
There is just something about a fruit salsa that really satisfies the palette. This combination salsa is delicious with tacos. I have made a similar one with slightly breaded tilapia!

This was made really quickly and the shrimp cooked very well.
My mom peeled the shrimp (yuck).
So I did the easy part and made the salsa.
The trick to a great salsa is a little bit of brown sugar to add the sweetness with coarse salt and pepper.

I don’t really like how shrimp look.
Gray. And dead.
They look wayyyyyyyyyy better pink.

There was avocado as well. Chili shrimp. Fruit savory salsa. AND shrimp sauce.
I don’t think you can go wrong with those combinations.
I’m sure you’re thinking what weird things to put together, but trust me and try it.
That’s all I can say.

chili shrimp
two tablespoon butter
chili flakes
salt and pepper
gray shrimp
fresh lemon juice
Peel shrimp. Heat skillet, add butter. Pour shrimp into butter.
Sprinkle with chili flakes, salt, and pepper. After cooked and pink pour lemon juice over and continue until fully cooked.
salsa
one tomato
half an onion
one mango
one peach
salt and pepper
one teaspoon brown sugar
sprigs of cilantro
Chop all ingredients. Mix into a bowl. Add sugar, salt, and pepper. Lastly mix in cilantro.
tacos
Assemble tacos with rice, cheese, avocado, salsa, shrimp, and this!
I will be making chocolate oatmeal cookies this week
while packing
and packing
and packing.
I’m going to try a new recipe because these went hard…
I know, gross.
I must not forget to mention my daddy’s help tonight! Thanks for setting the table and cleaning up. (the best man I know)
